How much experience do you have videotaping weddings?

Our videographers have been shooting weddings for over a decade.

 

Do you use broadcast-quality video equipment?

Yes.

 

Will you use single or multiple cameras?

We use a minimum of two cameras during the ceremony. This is to insure that you will receive a high quality video of the live event. The number of cameras used, anytime before or after the ceremony, is based on the level of service you purchase.

 

Will you shoot our wedding alone or with assistance?

Packages with one manned camera will only have one cameraman on site.  Many times this cameraman will have an assistant on hand to help with setup and tear down of equipment.

 

How do you incorporate sound into your videos?

We use multiple microphones, including wireless microphones on the groom and minister.  We use wired microphones for musicians and singers.

 

Are you willing to incorporate childhood photos, previously shot video and honeymoon material into the final production?

Yes, but there will be an extra fee depending on the quantity of photos or video.

 

Does your fee include duplicate tapes?

All packages include 3 DVDs or 3 VHS tapes.  See our Memories Packages page for pricing of additional media.

 

Do you retain the first-generation videotapes?

Yes. We keep the original video tapes for 90 days.

 

May we purchase the first-generation videotapes?

No.  As a policy, CrystaLink Productions does not release any unedited video.

 

How long after the wedding day will it be before we receive our video?

Most wedding videos are completed within 1 to 2 weeks. When photos/videos from childhood or from the honeymoon are incorporated, the video is usually completed within 1 to 2 weeks after receiving all materials.

 

By what date should we book your services?

We prefer booking at least 2 months in advance.  We understand that this not always possible and will work with you even on short notice. Please keep in mind that our bookings are “first come, first served.”

 

How much is the deposit?

There is a $350 nonrefundable deposit due at booking.  The deposit will be applied toward the total cost.

 

When is the balance due?

The balance can be paid anytime up to 1 week before the event. If balance is not paid before the 1 week deadline, only certified funds will be accepted (certified check or credit card).

 

What is your cancellation penalties?

Any cancellation will result in a loss of your deposit.
